Fund Raising Ideas?

I'm the chairperson this year for my school's Student Government ociation's THON committee. We're in charge of helping organize a 48 hour dance marathon at PSU University Park campus. Each year we raise money for kids with cancer at the hershey medical center through the four-diamonds fund. My question is this, can anyone give me some fund raising ideas? Unique, fun, etc.. I transferred to Behrend from a campus where THON is all the rage, and raising funds was not a big issue. But here, no one seems to have their heart into it. So although we have about eighty members there are only about or ten of us who are dedicated and we're kind of struggling.... So.... any ideas? All money goes towards pediatric cancer treatments and cancer research. We believe as a University we can and will find a cure...
