Should i jus give up on her?

met this girl at the gym 3 months ago, SHE was the one who was VERY persistent hangin out the first time (constant IMs, constant "lets go get ice cream", gave me her number witout me asking for it) so we go get ice cream, come bak to my house, i try to make a move and she turns her head. for the next month we dont talk at all, however when she would see me at the gym she would always want to be by me? anyway, the end of march we went to starbux, that week, we took a walk around the lake, and then we got ice cream the next week (she asked me to hang out all these times except the last one) so when we get ice cream the last time, i ask her how she feels about me and she says she likes hangin out wit me blah blah but she thought it was understood that we were just friends and that she doesnt "feel that conection, at least not yet" so i tell her "well, im interested in u, and its gonna be tough for me to hang out wit u if u have NO intentions of taking this any further eventually"
