Were you for or against the bailout? Do you consider yourself Independent, Democrat, Republican, anti-party or?

I'm not in favor of it. At times a shot in the arm is alright to get the economy moving again but what I would do is get rid of NAFTA bring companies back that have left and bring more jobs. I feel this is the best way to do it. We would not need to raise taxes because this is where revenue comes from in the first place is people working. I am not for handouts from the government. I am a Republican and that has not always been the case. I was a Democrat more than 30 years ago.
